Frequently Asked Questions
How many treatments will I need?
The frequency and number of treatments you need will depend on your individual condition. We usually suggest weekly treatments of four or six, although occasionally just one or two treatments are sufficient. You may choose to have regular sessions to maintain your health and wellbeing.
Do I remain fully clothed?
Yes – just remove shoes and socks
What information will you require from me?
A full medical history will be taken and you’ll be asked to sign a consent form agreeing to the treatment. All information will be kept confidential.
Can you diagnose?
Definitely not. I am not able to diagnose or cure medical conditions. Reflexology should not be used as an alternative to seeking medical advice.
How will I feel afterwards?
Sometimes people experience a mild headache, tiredness or increased urination but these are normal reactions and should pass in 24-48 hours. After a couple of treatments, most people feel an improved sense of wellbeing and deep relaxation
Can I claim from my private health insurance?
Please check with your healthcare provider if they cover Reflexology.
